Zagreb pilot

Pilot in preparation

The BTL-COP pilot programme is being developed across Valencia, Madrid, Zagreb, and London, bringing together police authorities, communities, and other local actors to strengthen trust, leadership, and practical collaboration.

Each pilot will support the creation of Trust in Neighbourhood Groups (TING) and contribute practical lessons to shared project learning.

Across all locations, activities will include cross-sector engagement, collaborative workshops, and regular local meetings. This page will be updated as activities begin and progress.

Local focus

In Croatia, with a focus on Zagreb, the pilot will be delivered with the Ministry of the Interior (MINISTARSTVO UNUTARNJIH POSLOVA) and local stakeholders, contributing to the shared approach across all pilot locations.

What makes the Zagreb pilot distinctive

  • Zagreb as a hub for collaboration: Activities will bring together police, community, and other local actors in the capital.
  • Strong cross-sector dimension: The pilot emphasises cooperation across institutions and professions.
  • Shared learning role: Insights from Croatia will contribute to knowledge exchange across all pilot regions.
  • Connection to wider project tools: The pilot will support the gradual introduction and adaptation of project methods and tools.
